Ok without the app. – I opted to not get the app as it seems that odd apps like these usually don’t stick around long. Without the app it still works for light and sound functions, so that’s fine but the sound selection leaves something to be desired and it will likely never get used. Soooo….it’s a cute nightlight.

My new found sound machine! – Overall I really really like this sound machine! First off, it is really beautiful to look at, the design is so pretty and the colors are beautiful. I like that you have color options, either a solid color or you can set it to auto change colors. You can also adjust the brightness level. Now something to be aware of that while you can control basic settings by touch in the device, there is an app you can download and I find the app to be 10000 times better than trying to control the machine by touch. There is a silver ring on the top and depending on how fast you touch it you should be able I adjust the colors and cycle through the sound and I got it to work by touch one time but then I turned the device off and unplugged it so I could move it to my bedroom and when I plugged it back up I couldn’t get the touch to do what I wanted. I couldn’t get it to get to the sound settings, it only would change colors upon touch so I broke down and downloaded the app and it works perfectly. The app is easy to navigate and it’s simple to set ip with your device and I can control everything so easily with the app. The speaker isn’t the best but it isn’t the worse and I do like the sound options though I prefer the the one that just sounds like white noise or some other colored noise.
