      Estimated, not actual temperature – The literature included clearly shows that the thermometer reading is an estimate based on an algorithm. This is deceiving because it’s not listed in the marketing material. Thought it’s not unusual to use an algorithm, this one is weak and too rapid. Reading were dramatically different minute-to-minute, and very different from my other thermometers. If accuracy is important to you, use a higher quality rapid model.
