It works – Definitely a little pricey for what it is but as long as I can actually get him to brush his teeth then it works. Hard to get top teeth though.

Cute, but bulky – I want to like this toothbrush, but it’s rather large. Understandably, it has to manage a finger width but it’s very bulky and I feel awful trying to shove it into my toddler’s mouth. I don’t know if I can consider it as useful as a normal toothbrush. I’ve taken a photo of it next to a standard adult sized toothbrush and this child’s brush is even slightly larger than that. It’s a whale, that’s for sure. Now, to it’s benefit, it’s very protective and I have no fear whatsoever of having a child chomp down on my fingers. I was surprised the first time I used it that there’s no pain whatsoever entailed when brushing no matter how hard those baby teeth clamp down. It is a fun product, and a novel teething toy. My older kids think that it’s fantastic. It’s sturdy and well made and I think some babies and parents would prefer it. The honest truth is that my one year old simply likes it less than a normal infant toothbrush, and I think I feel the same way.
