Not the color shown – While i am sure the product works the same no matter the color I thought they would be orange. I am doing a orange themed baby gift because orange is the main focal point of the nursery the parents are making. I’m not mad but I did buy these vs the other I was looking at because it would match the orange theme. Additionally I don’t see anywhere in the listing that states item color may vary. So do everyone a favor and update the listing please.

Cheap for a reason – These are pretty useless. The magnifying lense is trash and the actual clippers are really hard to get under little fingernails. Haven’t even bothered with the tweezers. I have the lighted magnifying ones and they’re 1000% with the extra couple dollars.

Magnifying glass is useless, but overall a great product – I was concerned I would clip my baby’s finger instead of her nail, and it was super important to me to get a pair of clippers with the magnifying glass. Once I received this and tried it, I realized it wasn’t even necessary. The clippers are sharp enough that you barely have to clip to get through baby nails. I did try to use the magnifying glass once, but it actually made it harder to see what I was doing. The most helpful advice I can give for using these is clip where you have a decent amount of light (the brighter the better), and do it when baby is somewhat calm – when she’s winding down for a nap, or right after she wakes up. That way it’ll be less of a chance you’ll clip her wiggly fingers.

Love these. – I got a pair like this when my oldest was born 5 years ago, they got broke and I got this pair as a replacement and I still love them. The tweezers are pretty sucky though.

Love these clippers! – The nail clippers work GREAT! I’m not sure why the other reviewers had a problem. It’s doubly weird since the reviews for just the nail clippers alone are better than this combo pack. Anyway, the magnification is perfect for getting right onto the little tiny nails of a 2 month old baby if you can get them to sit still long enough to actually cut them. It helps that I can see where to stop instead of going too deep. Tweezers have worked out wonderfully too for a couple pick things but have not really put them to the test. The nail clippers white plastic part feels a little bit cheap, but it holds up and holds onto the clippers without any slipping. Clippers are very sharp and can easily cut into skin however the hinge mechanism doesn’t have too much torque pressure so you won’t be chopping off any fingers, but as always with any child product – be careful!
