Wish they weren’t discontinued – Only bottle nipple my breastfeed baby will take. Super rude of the manufacturer to discontinue it. So I bought some extras. Super rude to lower the price after I purchase.

… purchased this to try since my baby would not easily take the Natural Latch nipples that came with the … – I purchased this to try since my baby would not easily take the Natural Latch nipples that came with the Playtex bottles. When he did drink out of them, he sucked in a lot of air. I thought this nipple, with it’s wider base, would solve that. Though he did take in less air than the Natural Latch nipple, he still took in too much, and didn’t seem to like it much. The actual nipple was also weirdly long and skinny – not like nipples I’m familiar with!

Loyal Playtex Customer – I loved the slow flow for my breastfed baby, but at 6 months I could tell that the bottle was too much work. So we “upgraded” to the medium flow. To the breastfeeding mom…I would recommend staying with the slow flow unless baby is really getting angry with the bottle. The medium flow is a considerable change and on days when my daughter is given a bottle, she is more likely to be fussy for breastfeeding due to waiting for the let down that she doesn’t have to wait for from the bottle.

Great nipples for breast fed babies – We tried the natural flow nipples that came with the ventaire bottles first and my breastfed baby was gassy after bottle and milk ran down his chin the whole time he was drinking. I saw these on Amazon and decided to try them. He drinks the bottle better and is less gassy! It’s more breast like so very nice for a breastfed baby while Mom is away at work. The only concern I have is the price and that it says they are discontinued!?

Fits Playtex Drop Ins – When I first bought them, I thought they didn’t fit the playtex drop ins like advertised. However because it has an extra lip on the nipple where it attaches to the ring that attaches to the bottle, you have to pull/push kind of really hard to get the nipple past the ring. It then fits like a normal playtex nipple would. It seems like my baby likes the shape of these better than the normal ones, he dribbles less milk out of his mouth. Although he doesn’t seem to show a huge preference between the two.

I had to switch to formula and we tried the Playtex Breast-Like Nipple and he never rejected the bottle. The even fit the shape of his mouth very similar to how my breast did. Great purchase. I did note someone else commented that the nipple turned yellow after a few uses. It does change color a little bit (I only hand wash my bottles and nipples) but it has not affected the quality or how my son is able to eat.
