Consistent reading! – Quick and consistent reading, easy to use. You can switch it ON by pressing the trigger, but there’s no button to turn it OFF, you have to wait for Auto OFF, that’s one drawback otherwise it reads temperature accurately.

Quick Readings – The thermometer seems to give quick and accurate readings. I used it on my forehead and my coffee using the different modes and it seems to work great so far!

Fast and accurate for body temp – I have an industrial infrared thermometer around for certain crafts/DIY, but I quickly realized that it wasn’t suited for medical use after getting suspect readings when trying to check body temp with it. Apparently, because the industrial IR thermometers need to cover such a large range, there’s a bit more margin of error at normal body temp ranges. Since there are only a couple of degrees between “take a Tylenol” and “go to the ER”, I decided to order this forehead thermometer for medical use specifically.

Easy to use – Opened it, and plugged in the two batteries it came with, but with difficulty. I had to use a very small slot-head screwdriver to get the back slid open. Once in, it was easy to slide back together and take temperatures.
