Good Summer Product – Now that traditional baby talc has been questioned by several studies we have switched to corn starch in our home. We trust the brand so we have been using this product but quite sparingly since the other studies have been released. We find this cooling for adults in hot sticky weather. It prevents chafing and absorbs perspiration during and after sports or exercise. Good product. The two small travel containers which were a “go with” bonus are so useful for gym bag or travel.

Is it cornstarch? – The small packages, travel size, of J and J baby powder do not say cornstarch on any label. The powder does not feel like cornstarch. Is the absence of a label indicative that cornstarch is not contained? Has Amazon been selling baby powder as cornstarch when that is not the fact?

Corn starch… Much better than talc! Less dangerous – Great product no talk made with corn starch. No danger to your baby or yourself if using. The only thing I would say is the company selling these are taking way too long to get them to us more than a month? Don’t you think that’s long?

Same cornstarch powder with different labeling – The labeling is different on this product compared to what I purchase locally. This does not say “pure cornstarch” on front, but it has cornstarch listed on back. If you read the ingredients, on back panel, they are actually the same…. Helps to know a bit of chemistry. Rather than stating, “aloe and vitamin e”, this one lists “naturally-derived ingredients”. You are basically getting same product with different packaging.
