Honesty – Most infrared thermometers are less accurate than oral thermometers. This manufacturer makes this clear and how to get a more a more accurate reading from the ear. No big deal for those who knew and understood this. I did not and was pleased to found the honest explanation refreshing. I now know how to use it more accurately.

It’s not accurate! My kid Had a scared of seizure! Don’t buy this! – I bought this product when my kids were 9 months old. I’ve been using it since then… I’ve never really write any bad reviews to any product because I think every person can have a different perspective about things.

The temp seems inaccurate – The temperature fluctuations are pretty extreme. It’s hard to trust this thermometer. The temperatures seem highly elevated. The ear thermometer of this device actually seems much more accurate. My way of deducing whether the reading is correct is by holding the thermometer up to a dedicated temperature gauge and testing the air and seeing how close to room temperature it is. If you only plan only using the ear thermometer function I would recommend this. I would not recommend this for forehead temperature reading.
