Wish These Were Around When My Daughter was Teething – I bought these for my 6 month old grandson who has been teething really heavily for the past 2 weeks. I like the fact that they came in a pack of 2 (you always need an extra in the freezer to switch out when one thaws). They freeze pretty quickly and maintain their coldness for quite awhile.

Rerfrigerate only – do not freeze! – These are awesome and they have stood the time with two teething 12 week old Yorkshire terriers. They chew on them for long periods of time. Do not freeze, however, because bursting would be bad for baby or puppy. Also, freezing would cause tears/bleeds on gums. Refrigeration is perfect for these.

Finally a teething toy my son likes – Bought this when my son started teething around 7 months old and he loves it. It really soothes his discomfort from teething and it’s easy for him to hold. We also use links and are able to attach it to his car seat so he can use it in the car or his stroller when going for walks. Definitely recommend. Super easy to clean too

Where do you see the word “freeze”? – So I was hesitant to buy these teethers because of the reviews. I decided to give them a chance though because I have several toys by Green Sprouts and i-Play and those are some of my sons favorite toys. I ended up buying two. I got the “Cool Hand Teethers” and clear ring. I am glad I did because my son absolutely loves these things. Now I want to start out my review by addressing a few things mentioned in some of the negative reviews.

Totally great – These things saved the day! My 2.5 month old starting screaming out of nowhere and it turns out he was early teething. He loves these. He didn’t use them for awhile and now he’s almost 5 months old and teething again. Found these in the freezer and he still loves them. And now he can actually use his hands to hold them! It’s cool to see him pick them up and put them in his mouth — it’s clear they make him feel better. Also not sure if this makes sense but they have some voodoo magic where they don’t get too cold. He can put them in his mouth straight out of the freezer.
