Decent sunscreen for kids – My son does not like us applying sunscreen on his face, so I try to find one that’s safe and easy and attractive for him to apply himself. Well this one works nicely, he likes the color and now he applies his sunscreen most of the times. I wouldn’t say that it lasts very long, but it’s good enough for him.

No white/ashy residue – This sunscreen works very well on my baby’s chocolate skin. It spreads so beautifully and does not leave a white or metallic cast on his skin or weird feeling residue. The smell is very lightweight, which is a surprise for sunscreen, but much appreciated!

Nice, but makes you sweat – This is a really nice product. It applies very nicely, the texture is smooth, not super heavy, but not light either. It is a little more on the oily side. Very minimal white cast. The only thing I didn’t like was that it made my upper and lower lip sweat when it is hot outside. Which if you are like me, you will dab away the sweat and then you wind up with dry flakey skin around your lips.

It’s safe – I like knowing you’re not putting something on your baby or child that isn’t safe. With the recent findings of ozybenzone in sunscreens showing carcinogenic properties, it’s good to know there are safe options out there.

BEST BEST Baby Sunscreen Out there – IT FEELS CLEAN. Not Yucky! Subtle, smells fresh like cucumbers. Moisturizing, applies well, child doesn’t mind it as compared to other products. Its not water-resistant, but I’m actually glad about that. Kids aren’t always playing with water while in the sun. The water-resistant products are really sticky and dont come off in the shower, which I feel won’t let me baby’s skin breathe clean. But Evereden’s sunscreen is just what I need for her everyday playtime in the sun. Hope you enjoy it!

Just OK – I have relatively dry skin + I hate the hassle of removing water resistant sunscreen, so I was looking for a daily mineral-based non-water resistant sunscreen that wouldn’t suck the moisture out of my face. I have fair skin and have a simple routine of just moisturizer + sunscreen in the morning. The sunscreen has a scent to it–not quite floral but verges on light-medicinal, probably due to the oils, without smelling like typical sunscreen. It does leave somewhat of a white cast, but this isn’t a problem for my light skin. The problem is that the sunscreen “sets” fairly quickly, similar to a water resistant sunscreen, and if you haven’t spread it evenly in time and afterwards try to blend in spots where the white cast is more apparent, you run the risk of it pilling/making the white spots clump together, making the matter worse. The sunscreen itself isn’t greasy and doesn’t leave your skin full blown shiny, but there is a little tackiness to it that makes me uncomfortable if some of my hair falls on my face, if that makes sense. However, certain thicker oils don’t sink well in my skin to begin with, and since this sunscreen has jojoba and sunflower seed oil, that’s probably why. I can’t imagine wearing this during the summer because it’d probably feel more tacky with the heat. This washes off with regular cleanser. Overall, I liked the fact that this was mineral based/not water resistant/didn’t leave my face feeling dry, but for the pilling/tackiness/2 oz for $22 (?!?!), this was not worth it for me.
