They can’t go down the drain! – It’s a toothbrush. It really only has to be effective at cleaning teeth and not fall apart while in use. It fits that criteria.

If we are using it on toddler then its fine but not to be given to toddlers unsupervised – I didnt receive the toothpaste but that being I have been usinh these toothbrushes on my almost 2 years ol and its holding up fine. Once he got hold of it and had so many bristles in his mouth.. It was my bad that I let him chew on it as I thought he is going to learn how to hold it and move it around..

Bristles come out – BEWARE that the bristles do come out! My son had teeth on the bottom and top and was chewing somewhat on it and had several of these bristles in his mouth. Immediately these went in the garbage. The handle was nice since it was rubber and probably soothes his gums, but do not let your child chew on the bristles!

No Loose Bristles Here? Helped Open Her Up to Toothbrushing – I let my daughter use these for supervised play starting at around a year old. She used to be hesitant about me brushing her teeth, but she now LOVES when I brush her teeth and I feel that it is from her being able to explore and play with these toy toothbrushes independantly. I have not experienced any loose bristles like other reviewers seem to have, and my daughter hasn’t tried to chew the rubber off of the handle so I can’t speak on that issue. Personally, my daughter and I have really enjoyed this product despite the issues that others have encountered.

I finally found a toothbrush my little one doesn’t run away from! – My little one is two. I received these brushes today and we finally had a break through. I felt at ease allowing him to walk with it knowing he wouldn’t jam it down his throat and that gave him time to chew on it however he felt he needed making him more comfortable with this brush. Not only did he try brushing, he brought me the toothbrush to brush his teeth too. I’m so thankful for the company who made these. They’re made safer for the baby to handle and the brush itself I noticed is much more softer than the other brands I’ve tried.
