Nice flavor, but pouches arrived damaged. – I like these Earth’s Best pouches, and I am so glad they are moving away from jars (which tend to break in transit). However, while the product itself is usually great, I will say that both Earth’s Best and Amazon haven’t yet worked out all the kinks. I just ordered multiple 12-packs of about seven or eight flavors. Most of the pouches arrived in fine condition. But some of them didn’t. Roughly one pouch in each order was split open and had spilled over the rest of the pouches–so that was a mess to clean up AND a waste of money. And I had two pouches that, after I opened them, poured out looking almost curdled. They didn’t smell, but they definitely were not the right texture.

a favorite – My baby loves this. He first had this at 7 months and still loves it at 11 months. I love the pouches for on the run meals, and this Sweet potato, Garbanzo and Barley is low in sugar and more protein that other pouches flavors.

Not as convenient as we thought. – This product seemed be great for about a week, but now it seems like the food product is separating from the water in the pack.. I thought maybe this was just a one off issue so after I drained most of the water off in the sink, I was left with a very thick mash.. I discarded that one off to the trash, grabbed a second one and shook it just incase. Now this product says nothing about shaking it prior to use but I figured I’d try. Well after shaking it for about a minute I opened it and this time squeezed it into a bowl and the same thing happen a large amount of water came out.. my problem with this product is, it says on the pack just squeeze and serve right out of the pouch. So I mixed it in a bowl and started feeding my child but it continued to separate. The other products we’ve bought seem to be fine but this one is not so convenient.

Faulty packaging+recipe? – My kid likes these a lot, but I’ve noticed quite a few of them seem to have a tiny hole in the bottom. If you squeeze an unopened one, a little bit of food will come out the very bottom of the pouch. Perhaps the food is corrosive and eats through the pouch?
